Master of Science in Nutrition

The Master of Science in Nutrition strives to generate future leaders who will successfully enter the dietetics field as competent entry-level professionals.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of jobs for dietitians and nutritionists is projected to grow 15 percent from 2016 to 2026, a rate much higher than average. And starting in 2024, the (CDR) will require a master’s degree for entry-level registered dietitians.
91Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ is well positioned to meet this growing need. Since 2007, our mission has been to prepare dietetic students for the RD exam through our coordinated and certificate programs. Our program offers a strong foundation in community nutrition using innovative and engaging teaching strategies. Students receive hands-on opportunities to work with diverse low-income families and provide nutrition education while being instructed in evidence-based practices and developing leadership skills.
