Timiya Ray ’20 releases EP titled "Eventually"

Timiya Ray ’20, known as the artist T.Ray, has released her first EP titled "Eventually". She invested in her own studio equipment and won a grant from 91Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ to finance "Eventually", which is available on major streaming platforms.
Timiya graduated in May 2020, accumulating a 3.77 grade-point average while majoring in graphic design with a minor in social media. A three-time Dean's List and four-time Honors List selection, she was named the recipient of the Dorothy Reiner Mulroy Award given annually to 91Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½'s senior student of the year. Additionally, Timiya was a 2018–2019 ExcEL Scholar and a member of 91Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½'s chapter of Lambda Pi Eta—the official honor society of the National Communications Association.
Timiya was a four-year member of 91Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½'s women's basketball team and in scoring, rebounds, and blocked shots. Extremely active in the 91Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ campus community, she was a resident assistant as a senior and a four-year member of both the DU Diversity Council and the campus' Black Student Union, serving as the BSU's social media manager for two years.
