It’s another record-setting year for 91ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½.

For the first time this fall, freshman enrollment topped 695 new studentsβ€” exceeding last year’s record by more than 44 students.

This is the third consecutive year that 91ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ has recorded its highest number of first-year students in university history. In 2022, DU welcomed just over 600 freshmen for the first time.

Transfer student and graduate student enrollment has also increased, and overall student retention remains strong, university data shows.

The growth experienced this year is especially meaningful given the challenges of the new Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process, which delayed financial aid packages to prospective students across the country and impacted enrollment at many small colleges, noted 91ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ President Dr. Glena G. Temple.

β€œ91ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ not only weathered these uncertainties, but saw our expectations exceeded,” she said. β€œThis is a real testament to our reputation as a premier, top-ranking Catholic university, and I am proud that so many students recognize that a 91ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ education is valuable and as relevant as everβ€”even in these constantly changing and challenging times.”
